Reserved 3 rooms and all were very nice with great river and park views. Breakfast is very good! Our server was so sweet, courteous & attentive. Our bartender for our evening cocktails was great. All staff was great. Thanks!

Staff were very kind switched my rooms so we had a river view. Dinner staff were slow we waited a long time for drinks and ended up going to the bar to order and server took forever to come to our table for an order. Food took almost an hour to get. Morning staff was fantastic, came and took my order right away and was served quickly. Overall good experience.

I was in town for a conference in June. I booked a room online and as soon as I landed I attempted to check-in with the “Hilton digital key app”. The app never confirmed my room. When I arrived to the hotel, I explained to the front desk that I tried to check in online. I was given a room with a key card and checked in. I enjoyed my stay for a week and checked out. Upon checking out I was billed and given one receipt for my room. Once I returned from my business trip I found that my card was charged twice. I tried to dispute this charge through my travel agency but the reply form Hilton Garden Inn Yuma was that I booked two rooms and now I’m paying $900 for a room I didn’t stay inn. Nice hotel, friendly people, but if their app is glitching be aware of getting overcharged. I would think that when I checked out at the desk, or checked in they would have notified instead of waiting until I departed the area and then charge me. I have reached out to Hilton HQ and will post a follow on review with the outcome. Follow on: As you can see below, the Hotel followed up and sent the standard reply urging me to contact them so we can resolve the issue. That’s a nice way to say call us, so we can tell you over the phone there is nothing we can do. Pay up. So lessons learned. 1. I suck with technology apparently. 2. Hilton employees suck at communicating with their customers. Not good for my pocket but I’m sure Hilton Garden Inn needs $$ more than I do.

I looked at the website and the listed rate was $159. I called the hotel directly to make a reservation for two nights for a room adjoining our daughter’s. I was told she had a king and we would get an adjoining double (two queens). We were going to Yuma to take care of her young son while she attended a conference of the Arizona Chambers of Commerce. I asked if they had a AAA or AARP discount and was given the discounted rate of $252 for two nights. I never received a confirmation - either on the phone, via email or by text message. The price seemed okay - not much of a discount but not a surprise. We weren’t super interested in going to Yuma and could have kept our grandson at home, but we thought it would be better for him to have his mama at night. So we reserved it. When we arrived, our daughter’s room was ready but ours was not. We were fine with that as it was early and we could wait in her room. The front desk host told us there was no adjoining room, but she could put us across the hall and down one room. That was disappointing but it was close enough and we were grateful for her help. We were told someone would call our daughter’s room phone when our room was ready and they would run up with the key cards for us. We went up to our daughter’s room to wait. Some hours later we still hadn’t heard about our room. I walked out to the car to get some of our belongings and stopped to ask about the room. Someone else was working the front desk and he wasn’t willing to help me without my ID so I went back upstairs and got it, returned to the lobby, and he told me yes, our room was ready. I asked why we hadn’t heard. At first he didn’t know anything about it but later said he had tried to call. We were in the room the whole time and there was no call or message. There was no mention of anyone running up with the key cards. He gave me one key card but still, I had no idea of the actual cost. We weren’t comfortable in the room. It was small, crowded and loud. The pool was fully in the intense Arizona sun with no shade provided. Breakfast was $12 for the continental (cold cereal) offering, or more if ordered off menu. For that we paid $562 for two nights, which we learned only when we got home and checked our email for the receipt. We won’t be going back.

Great proximity to downtown and to I8 access. The food and beverage department is wonderful, but the food is way over priced compared the food within walking distance. There is no free breakfast anymore at Hilton garden inn. That's a Hilton issue. You get a $10 credit per day if you're gold or diamond, but they charge $12.95 for eggs, bacon, and toast. Save it for Happy hour. The food and beverage staff is amazing, and the rooms are good. I was not really impressed with the front desk team, but I'm upset about the way I was treated checking in, and again when I asked for 2 bottles of water after check in and told that would be $4. So that set the tone for time that I've been here. If it wasn't for the location, I would have checked out on day 2. The rooms are always fresh, even with limited service. If I ever needed something, the housekeeping team was very accommodating, especially of my varying schedule. I was here for 3 weeks during the heat dome in July and the air in the lobby area and hallways is stifling. The air in the lobby was out for half the time I was here. If you sit at the bar in the afternoon for happy hour, you'll break out in a sweat. Very frustrated with how they treat their loyalty members. Don't expect much, even if you're a diamond member. If you want water everyday, you'll have to check out and check back in. It's only complimentary on check in. There are signs everywhere that says if you buy food off property, you cannot eat it at the bar or in the common area to watch the TV and have a drink from the bar. That's a property management decision and not a food and beverage decision. If you're here for more then a night, you'll inevitably want to grab food and come back, just odd that they prohibit it. Overall, I don't plan to return here unless forced by work obligations. There is another Hilton property, Home2 suites is very close, just across the railroad tracks, so I'd recommend checking there first if you're a Hilton honors member or have long stay planned. I was put here by default through work travel coordinator. Like I said, I would have checked out if there was room available at Home 2 suites for time here. Hilton seems to be cutting corners everywhere except their boutique properties. I think it's time to move to Marriott rewards and just use Hilton as a backup.
